A short horror-thriller I worked on as the Assistant Editor.
After years of famine, Brothers Caleb and Joshua find a worn, dirty leather journal buried in their father's grave. Inside are strange illustrations, dark rituals, and instructions on how to summon a spirit of shadow. Joshua wants to destroy it, Caleb wants to use it to save them from starvation.

When Karen Miller recognizes one of her classmates has gone viral on a video sharing app, Karen decides that she should try to do the same. While stuck at home because of the pandemic, she only has her annoying younger brother Calvin to ask for help. After several tries, each video looks like a disaster and Karen blames Calvin. Calvin has had enough and tells Karen that social media is fake and isn't the answer to Karen loving herself.
